Because of budget constraints, Central Indiana had not built a new Y.M.C.A. in over 15 years. The only way one was going to get constructed was through a private/public partnership with the City of Fishers. The City owns this building and the Y.M.C.A. leases it.

This 70,000 s.f. facility has two indoor swimming pools, a hot tub, locker rooms, two interior gymnasiums with wood floors, a work out room with state-of-the-art equipment, an exercise room, offices, a child's playroom area, teen center, and a SubWay Sandwich Shop for a quick lunch-to-go. A large mechanical room sercvices the entire building as well as the pool filtration system. All of the interior and exterior pools where constructed out of cast-in-place concrete with ceramic tile and epoxy paint. The unique looking block/stone on the exterior is one-of-a-kind crushed granite from Canadian Quarries.

A zero entry playpool with water features and fountains is right next to the main exterior pool on the east side of the building. There is a large concrete pool deck for lawnchairs and a grassy area for laying out in the sun. On the opposite side of the building is a nature center for outside classes.
