Built upon an old coal mine in soutwest Indiana, this Wal~Mart replaced and aging one nearby. The 185,000 s.f. of floor includes general retail, grocery, TLE (tire & lube area), and storage. Some of the interior buildouts include: Subway, Immediate Care Services, Banking, vision center, hearing center, and a hair salon. The majority of the concrete floor is pre-colored with a high polish finish.   

This building is constructed mainly of structural steel and masonry block.  The roof is comprised of insulation and an EDPM roofing system. There are cart storage and pallet storage areas on the exterior. 6 ea. 1-2 acre "outlots" will accomodate future restaurants and retail buildings.

A construction schedule of 10 months allows for no errors in the schedule. Along with the building contruction, there were major highway improvements on S.R. 50 & S.R. 57.
