Ivc Coating's powder paint business was growing. Powder coatings are used in/on a variety of products. One of IVC's main businesses is powder coatings for plastic television housings. They needed more manufacturing and processing space to accommodate the orders. They chose Brazil, Indiana to build a new production facility. 

This building is 70,000 s.f. pre-engineered, and is multi-leveled. Raw material comes in at one level and after it is processed, it is brought to the shipping area 15'-0" below. At that point, it is packaged and ready to be loaded onto trucks. Multi-leveled high bay steel mezzanines are at the center level and help feed conveyers and mixing machines around the building. A two story office building is attached on one side that includes testing and laboratory areas for product.

One of the challenges of this building project was that an exterior water tank had to be built because the City of Brazil water supply was not adequate enough to feed the fire suppression system installed in the building.
