When Home Bank in Martinsville needed to expand its operation, a new location was chosen in a newly developed and expanding area along highway 37.  The site features a Wal-Mart and many other retail and restaurant locations. The branch not only houses the bank but also multiple retail shops for lease.

Entering the building on foot or in the drive-up, you can’t help but look up to the wood stained “glue-lam” arches that support the main roof.  Exposed wood lines the interior of the ceiling while standing seam metal covers the exterior.  The remaining roofs are covered with rubber membrane and matching metal flashing.  The exterior is brick with aluminum windows and doors.

The main lobby entrance features marble tile floors and structural aluminum frames holding glass reaching to the wood ceiling above allowing unlimited natural light in the building.  Multiple glass walled offices line the perimeter while an expansive wood and Corian teller line divides the space.
