In early 2001 McDonalds set out to provide upgraded menu and service at its many nation wide restaurants.  The resulting concept was “McDonalds with the Diner Inside” which offered an expanded menu and Table side service not found in a traditional “Fast Food” setting.  Here you could get everything from turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy to the traditional McDonalds favorites of Big Macs and French Fries.

After demolition of an existing McDonalds restaurant, construction began using a concrete block as well as an Astra Glaze block shell.  The roof is seven ply built-up asphalt roofing over metal decking and bar joists.  Exterior finishes include custom made stainless trims and a painted metal awing system.  The interior décor is reminiscent of a 50’s style diner with oak trim and stainless steel prominently used through out.

The offices are framed in a conventional manner. Dispatch is located along the same side as the offices. Concrete paving is used in lieu of asphalt for durability on site.
