Located in Mt. Summit in Henry County, Blue River Valley is Home of the Vikings.
MacDougall Pierce gave this school a facelift on all of the existing  interior of the building as well as construction of new classrooms, gymnasium, weight room, and locker rooms. Construction started in June 2003.

This project was challenging due to working in an occupied school.  Classrooms were renovated in groups of three in order to keep the school open.  All the existing rooms were upgraded to a heat pump system.  The system works off of a geo-thermal field located just west of the building.
 
A new suite of state of the art science labs were added.  The kitchen was completely upgraded to serve as the main kitchen for the school system.  A new stage was constructed with the gymnasium complete with sound and lighting systems.
