Located in the heart of  Anderson, IN this three story brick building houses the police department, probation department and several city courts. MacDougall Pierce performed all carpentry and concrete on this project.  The building sits on a full drive out basement, and is 20,000 s.f. x 3 floors.  The interior of the building is clad with oak wainscoting and matching trim. 

The police station replaces the old police station in town. A small "maintenance/ service" area in the lower level lets the city work on minor vehicle repair work. The full basement has punched windows allowing for light in the lower level. 

Exterior treatments include a multi level stairwell, ramps, and parking. The building is enclosed with a full brick and limestone wrap. The building consumes a whole city block and is bordered by brick paver accented sidewalks.
